Orthodox church of St. Michael the Archangel Conservation in Turzansk
A wooden parish church, built in the years 1801–1803, located in Turzansk and included in the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. In 2013, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The renovation of the Orthodox church in Turzańsk, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, was a large conservation project. The development and implementation consisted of a multi-disciplinary team with supervising officials, i.e. the provincial monument conservator, EU officials from Rzeszów, local supervision inspectors - all composed of a multi-person commission and design teams and contractors. I was part of the investor's supervision team. I took part in the conservation project to renovate the wooden wall. At the same time, I watched the commission's work and participated in the deliberations and meetings as an inspector assistant .
